The Darius J. Dawson Memorial Scholarship was established in 2021 to honor the life of Darius J. Dawson and to continue his legacy of excellence, generosity, and service. we have partnered with North Carolina A&T State University's Charitable Foundation to establish the Darius J. Dawson Endowment.

About Ruler Day
Since 2021, family and friends have gathered in Fayetteville, NC on July 24th weekend to celebrate the life of Darius J. Dawson on his birthday.
a day of celebration, reflection, and unity through music, art, and culture, ruler day began with a 5K run through downtown Fayetteville and continue at the historic Seabrook Park. The event featured a live band, multiple activation stations, and the dj dawson memorial scholarship presentation.
